Ozarka College in Melbourne, Ark., will host Kids College this summer.
Kids College is an enrichment program for students who have completed grades kindergarten through five. Classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 3 through 6 at Ozarka College, 218 College Drive. The deadline to apply for admission is May 22.
The program is designed to provide youth with an environment for expanding their knowledge and enhancing and learning new skills. Kids College allows students the opportunity to become familiar with the Ozarka College Melbourne campus to promote the concept of accessibility of a college education and its importance in today’s world, add officials.
The registration form to apply to Kids College can be found on the Ozarka website. Parents will be contacted if their child is accepted into the summer program. Tuition is $80. If accepted, parents/caregivers will need to bring the tuition fee to check in and fill out a lunch menu on the first day of Kids College, June 3. Refreshments, a T-shirt and student ID are included in the tuition fee.
