A benefit to help pay the costs related to a diagnosis of Hodgkin nodular sclerosis lymphoma will be held for Spencer Young, 24, West Plains.
It will be held 5 to 9 p.m. March 22 at AMVETS Post 98, 1852 County Road 6070 (Old U.S. 160) in West Plains.
Hot dogs, chili, chili dogs, Frito pie, chips and drinks will be served by donation. Benefit organizers explained Young has been recently diagnosed with the cancer and his mother, Jackie Young, has been out of work since Spencer's diagnosis.
The fundraiser is to help with living expenses, treatment and travel costs, and other expenses related to his treatment.
