The Howell County Commission will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Commission Room on the second floor of the Howell County Office Building, 35 Court Square in West Plains.
Items on the tentative agenda include approval of a commission order regarding abatement and additions of tax assessment for May and review and consideration of bids for the purchase of steel culverts for the Road & Bridge Department in both northern and southern districts. The bids are due by 11 a.m. that day.
Also at 11 a.m., representatives of the 37th Judicial Circuit Juvenile Office will meet with commissioners regarding a grant.
Commissioners will also consider and award American Rescue Plan Act requests, approve any accounts payable and recognize guests present.
The commission meets every Monday and Thursday. The public is welcome.
