Are you ready, thanksgiving is next week! I'm already thinking about the leftovers, the turkey sandwiches for days are worth all the trouble. Bread in any form is always a part of the festive menu in most homes, it is in mine but nothing too filling, must save room for dessert. That is why rolls are perfect, you can't go wrong with a good yeast roll and I dug deep in a vintage recipe site for just the right roll. These icebox rolls were popular back in the 1940s when nothing went to waste. They are a little more work than others and they have to be made the day before but much fresher and last for up to a week. And they are pretty too! Don't wait for the holiday to try these, treat the family tonight!
