On Friday morning, Missouri Gov. Mike Parson announced that Cynthia Lee, of West Plains, has been appointed as the Howell County Circuit Clerk. Lee has served as chief deputy clerk for the Howell County Circuit Clerk's Office since 2017 and has over 20 years experience working in the office. She holds a certificate of completion in accounting I and II from the American Institute of Banking and a certificate in office administration and technology from South Central Vocational Tech. The Howell County Circuit is part of the 37th Judicial Circuit, which also includes Carter, Oregon and Shannon counties.
