The annual Howell County Lincoln Day Dinner will be held March 22 in the Magnolia Room of the West Plains Civic Center, 110 St. Louis St, announce officials with the Howell County Republican Party.
This year’s featured speaker is Aaron Dorr, a political activist with nearly 20 years of experience advocating for the Second Amendment in state legislatures including in Missouri, Iowa, New York, Georgia, Wyoming, Indiana and Illinois. He is with the Missouri Firearms Coalition.
Also speaking at the event will be 33rd District Sen. Brad Hudson, 154th District State Rep. Lisa and 153rd State Rep. Keith Elliott.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with registration, followed by dinner and the program at 6 p.m. Ticket prices are $35 each and in the West Plains area may be purchased from Howell County Republican Party Chair John Williams, Jim and Lisa Brassfield, and Judy Von Allmen in the West Plains area. Tickets may also be purchased from Tracy and Rick Brasier in the Willow Springs/Pomona area, Devan and Emilee Daniels in the Willow Springs/Mountain View area, Nick and Nancy Heavrin in the Mtn. View area, or from any Howell County officeholder.
Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the event, but seating is limited so everyone is encouraged to get their tickets early.
Keeping with longstanding tradition, a highlight of the event will be a live auction fundraiser conducted by former Southern District Commissioner Billy Sexton.
