Posted

The Howell County Sheriff’s Office recently promoted deputies Nicholas Bruno, Seth Smith and Matthew Roberts to deputies first class in the patrol division.

Howell County Sheriff Brent Campbell said each deputy’s commitment to serve and protect has set him apart from his peers.

Campbell recognized Bruno, Smith and Roberts on June 16, after they were selected among their peers to be promoted from deputy to deputy first class within the patrol division beginning June 20.

“This is truly great news for the community, the sheriff’s office, the county of Howell and the state of Missouri,” Campbell said in an announcement.

He said the deputies’ past performance and professionalism demonstrated the potential and ability to continue to contribute as examples to the community and to those in law enforcement.

Campbell said he was truly proud of Bruno, Smith and Roberts and thanked the community and their families for their support.

“Bruno, Smith and Roberts are now charged to faithfully and impartially discharge the duties required by this promotion,” Campbell said.
