In a showdown for the ages, the West Plains High School Lady Zizzers battled the Marshfield Bluejays in the third-place game of the prestigious Pink and White High School Girls Basketball Tournament on New Year’s Eve in Springfield. With every possession dripping with intensity and every basket fueling a roller coaster of emotions, the Lady Zizzers left it all on the hardwood under the leadership of head coach Christy Otter. Despite a valiant effort and several clutch moments, they fell just short in a nail-biting 52-51 thriller, earning a well-fought fourth-place finish.
