In a decision reached Tuesday, Missouri Supreme Court justices have handed down a ruling in favor of a writ of prohibition filed on behalf of Missouri Highway Patrol Trooper Mayela Barron, making the previously temporary writ permanent on the grounds that Barron is entitled to official immunity regarding a case filed after her patrol car collided with another vehicle during a high speed chase.
