Offices at Missouri State University-West Plains will be closed between the 2024 fall and 2025 spring semesters for winter break.
The last working day of 2024 for university employees will be Dec. 20. Offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Jan. 6, 2025.
Area residents and students who need to conduct business in person with university officials before Jan. 6, 2025, should visit the campus before 5 p.m., Dec. 20.

The West Plains Daily Quill will publish a newspaper on Christmas Day, however, because the post office will be closed, subscribers will get their papers delivered on Thursday. Normal deadlines for advertising, obituaries and submissions will be in place.
The office will be closed both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but will be open for regular business hours on Dec. 23, 26 and 27.
No paper will be published on Jan. 1, and the Quill office will be closed for New Year’s Day. The first issue of 2025 will publish on Jan. 4, also with normal deadlines.
The office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Dec. 31.
