The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation announces its third annual Fall Mum Sale, described by officials as “a vibrant and colorful fundraising event” aimed at supporting Ozarks Healthcare’s Endowment Fund.
Starting today, the foundation will have a variety of colored mums for sale outside its office located in Parkway Center, 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains, for $20 each. The mums come in about 10 assorted colors, presented in two-gallon pots, and are locally grown by the skilled Amish community.
All forms of payment are accepted, including payroll-deduction for Ozarks Healthcare employees. Sales will continue until all mums are sold.
“The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation is proud to offer these vibrant mums to our community as a way to not only celebrate the autumn season but also contribute to the continued growth and development of healthcare services through Ozarks Healthcare’s Endowment Fund,” said officials. “The Endowment Fund plays a vital role in ensuring the long-term sustainability of Ozarks Healthcare’s hospital and the quality care provided to its community.”
By participating in the Fall Mum Sale, community members have the opportunity to not only beautify their homes with the flowers, but also directly contribute to the betterment of healthcare in Ozarks Healthcare’s region, officials point out.

The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation, established in 1998 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) with a local board of directors, serves as a liaison between donors and Ozarks Healthcare to assist the hospital in providing healthcare to the communities it serves.
