“This big orange tabby sweetheart is Bruno,” says West Plains Regional Animal Shelter volunteer Trish Hammen. “He has had a rough life and still loves people.” Hammen estimates Bruno may be about 2 years old and says he is current on shots and neutered. “If you're looking for a couch buddy he is waiting for you to take him home,” she adds. The shelter is in need of donations of cat litter and volunteers, and urgently needs a large-capacity washing machine and canned cat food, Hammen says. To adopt Bruno, make a donation or volunteer, drop by between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays at the shelter, 1486 BB Highway.
