In recognition of Memorial Day, the Quill will be closed Monday and will reopen for normal business hours at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Federal, state and city offices will also be closed including all post offices, public libraries, the Howell County Courthouse and West Plains City Hall.
With city offices closed, residents who normally have their trash picked up on Mondays will have trash collected Tuesday, with no other routes affected.
Missouri State University–West Plains offices will be closed.
