Sarah Hill is the Keynote Speaker for EPIC 2022

Posted

The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) is happy to announce that their signature event, EPIC 22, will feature keynote speaker Sarah Hill, the CEO and Chief Storyteller at Healium, the world’s first biometrically-powered VR/AR immersive media channel controlled by the user’s brainwaves and heart rate via consumer wearables. Sarah is a 12-time Emmy award-winning TV journalist who developed Healium for herself and the millions of others who want to self-heal their anxiety for better sleep and human performance.

Sarah’s journey with this technology began in 2015 when she founded StoryUp, the maker of Healium.

Her team built a program called “Honor Everywhere”, which uses virtual reality and augmented reality to allow aging Veterans the opportunity to virtually visit their WWII, VIetnam, Korea, & Women’s Memorials. From there, Sarah went on to receive two patents for biometrically-powered media, her immersive experiences have been viewed more than 7 million times, and Healium’s products are clinically validated in 5 peer-reviewed journals. Healium’s biggest strength is that it offers a drugless solution to stress and anxiety.

Sarah’s keynote presentation at EPIC 22 will address the importance of mental fitness for business owners and how stress when not properly managed can wreck sleep cycles and make people sick.

Attendees will learn how to scale their mental wellness while scaling their businesses at the same time.

“We are thrilled to have Sarah as our keynote speaker for EPIC this year” said Autumn Shirley, Business Development Specialist at OzSBI, “this topic could not be more timely, considering the amount of stress that business owners around the country are facing at this moment.”

EPIC 22 will be held at the Ozarks Small Business Incubator on Thursday, May 12 from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Sarah is scheduled to give her keynote speech at about 2:45. The event will also feature a roundtable session of local entrepreneurs called “Ozark Innovators,” an exciting business pitch competition with cash prizes, and a mix & mingle business networking opportunity. The public is enthusiastically invited to attend. To register for EPIC, go to www.ozsbi.com, or call 417-256-9724 for more information.
