Sheriff recognizes inmates for jail improvement efforts

Posted

Howell County Sheriff Brent Campbell recognized personnel housed at the Howell County Jail in West Plains for their work in helping maintain the facility. Campbell said that, on Thursday, he received “”eager requests” from jail inmates to conduct an area beautification. “With great appreciation,” Campbell said, he granted the personnel’s request and “prideful work took place to improve the jail division.” Campbell expressed his sincere appreciation to inmates for their hard work and awarded them with cookies for what he described as their “selfless act.” From left, in front of their freshly-painted walls, are participating inmates Stanley Kenega, Jacob Hearne, Dustin Vanzant, Brian Mottus, Jaun Resendiz, Rain Collins, Nathan Hicks, Zach Burris, Chad White, Richard Quinn, Mathew Gavlak and Billy Greer, and Sheriff Brent Campbell.
