A St. Louis man died of injuries suffered in a crash at 4:32 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. 160 in Ozark County, 7 miles west of Caulfield, near Cloud 9 Ranch, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Tpr. K.L. Hogan, Troop G of the patrol, Willow Springs, reported James C. Hagedorn, 80, was a passenger in a 2011 Ford F150 driven east by Joan L. Hagedorn, 68, also of St. Louis. The crash reportedly happened when the pickup truck crossed the center line, ran off the left side of the road and struck an embankment.

Both occupants of the vehicle wore seat belts; the driver was taken by Ozark County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, and the passenger was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, the report shows.
