There it was… Up on the housetop, not Santa Claus, but an antenna on our 1212 Webster home. It was 1954, I was 10 years old, and had completed the walk home from Carmichal School, and as I walked into the yard I knew my life had been changed forever. Things would never be the same. The Willards had a new black-and-white TV.
