The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported two fatal traffic incidents on Tuesday, involving a toddler and an elderly woman.

The woman was not wearing a safety device and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment, the report shows. It was there, at 6:20 p.m., she was pronounced dead by Dr. Kirby Pogue.
No injuries were reported for the other driver, who wore a seat belt.
Howell was assisted at the scene by Sgt. Weadon and Tpr. Battreal.
The deaths are the 13th and 14th traffic fatalities this year in the nine-county Troop G area, compared to seven at this time in 2024.
The patrol no longer identifies crash victims in its public reports, citing the possibility the information could be used to perpetrate scams against victims.
