INCIDENTS
At about 11:14 p.m. July 4 officers responded to Air Evac located at 1800 Air Medical Road in West Plains, Missouri for a report of a female needing a courtesy transport. Upon contact with the female, Officer Whitley Clark learned that she had active warrants out of Perryville, Mo., statewide extradition. The female was arrested and transported to the Howell County Jail. At the time of this report, this case was considered closed. Officer Whitley Clark.
At about 11:51 p.m. July 5 officers responded to the area of Worcester Street and Cherry Street in West Plains, Missouri for a report of a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival officers learned that the vehicle was occupied by one, and an investigation was conducted. A male subject had sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical care. At the time of this report, this case was considered open for further investigation. Officer Whitley Clark.
At about 5:41 p.m. July 5 Corporal Joshua Wichowski made contact with a male subject in the area of Galloway Park in reference to careless and imprudent driving. The male subject was later found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and resisted arrest. The male subject was transported to the West Plains City Jail where he was booked into custody and issued citations.

At about 2:15 a.m. July 5 officers were dispatched to 1100 Kentucky Avenue (Ozarks Healthcare Emergency Room) for a report of an agency assist report for Thayer Police Department in Thayer, Missouri in reference to an assault. A report was taken. Officer Tatum Whitsell.
At about 8:27 a.m. July 5 Officer Joel Lovelace responded to the 2000 block of East State Route K in West Plains, Missouri for a report of a suspicious female. During Officer Lovelace’s investigation he determined that the female was under the influence of a controlled substance and had an altered mental status. The female was then transported to Ozark Healthcare for treatment regarding her altered mental status.
At 9:26 a.m. July 5 it was reported that, that day, Corporal Wes Stuart responded to the 800 block of First Street for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle.
At about 10:46 a.m. July 5 Officer Joel Lovelace responded to Jame Monroe Memorial Park located at 1914 State Route BB in West Plains, Missouri for a report of property damage. Upon further investigation it was determined that the suspect broke the toilet in the men’s bathroom and the women’s bathroom. At the time of this report, this case was to remain open and under investigation.
