INCIDENTS
At about 8:31 a.m. July 12 Corporal Joshua Wichowski responded to the residence of 409 South Harlin St. in West Plains, Mo., 65775 for a report of theft from a vehicle. A report was taken and, at the time of this report, this matter remained under active investigation.
At about 8:48 a.m. July 12 Corporal Joshua Wichowski responded to the Ozark Christian Academy located at 210 Allen St. in West Plains, Mo., 65775 for a report of stealing. A report was taken and, at the time of this report, this matter remained under further investigation.
At 9:17 a..m. July 12 it was reported that, that day, Animal Control Officer Brad Jones was dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of Fifth St. in regards to a subject wanting to file a complaint in regards to a dog running loose. Upon arrival, Officer Jones spoke to a 54-year-old male who stated that his neighbor had been allowing his dog to run loose in his yard on several different occasions. The dog’s owner was contacted and issued a written complaint.
At about 10:22 a.m. July 12 officers took a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 700 block of Hynes St. in West Plains, Mo. At the time of this report, the case remained active and open pending further investigation. Officer Colter Reid.
At 1:46 p.m. July 12 it was reported that, that day, Animal Control Officer Brad Jones was dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Caldwell St. in regards to a dog bite. Upon arrival, Officer Jones spoke to a 55-year-old female who stated that, while at a neighbor’s residence, the neighbor’s dog had bitten her. The victim had signs of injuries to her right leg and medical treatment was sought. At the time of this report, this case was still under investigation.
At about 4:21 p.m. July 12 Officer Brent McKemie was dispatched to the 1300 block of Preacher Roe Blvd. in West Plains, Howell County, Mo., in reference to a stealing incident. A suspect was identified and, at the time of this report, charges were being sought.
At 12:25 p.m. July 13 Officer Kevin White was dispatched to the 200 block of S Thayer Ave. for a report of a verbal domestic. Upon Officer White’s investigation, he found that two friends had gotten into an argument about possible theft and property damage. Both parties refused to sign a complaint, and they were not in nor had they ever been in a relationship. The female’s and male’s information was run through dispatch, and the female had a warrant out of the West Plains Police Department. She was arrested on the active warrant and taken to the Police Department, nothing further.
