West Plains Bank and Trust Company Launches MSU-WP Grizzly Debit Card

West Plains Bank and Trust Company has announced the addition of a Missouri State University (MSU) –West Plains Grizzly debit card to the Community Debit Card Program. The program was launched in 2012 and more than $330,000 has been donated to area schools and healthcare in communities where the bank has branch locations.

West Plains Bank and Trust Company Community Debit Cards are free with every checking account. Each time the cards are used to make a purchase at a retailer the Bank adds to a donation, which is paid out annually. MSU-West Plains Grizzly debit cards are available now at any West Plains Bank and Trust Company full-service branch.

According to West Plains Bank and Trust Company President/Chief Executive Officer David M. Gohn, area residents are fortunate to have higher learning opportunities available locally through MSU – West Plains. “Many students, traditional and non-traditional, are able to pursue degrees without having the expense of attending an out-of-area institution,” he said. “Having high quality education resources available locally opens doors for many in the region and we believe strongly in supporting this work. Students, university faculty and staff, and community members can now proudly show their Grizzly spirit by requesting an MSU-West Plains Grizzly Debit Card.”

West Plains Bank and Trust Company customers may request a Grizzly card, or any community debit card design, free of charge.
