Willow Springs to celebrate 'We Got the Beat' homecoming Friday

Willow Springs High School will celebrate its homecoming on Friday with a day of festivities including a parade, coronation ceremony and football game. This year's theme is "We Got the Beat.”

The homecoming parade is scheduled for 2 p.m., with lineup beginning at 1 p.m., shared Student Council sponsor Matthew Knapp. The parade will start at Booster Field, travel down Main Street to Ferguson Street, and end at Munford Gym.

The evening's events will take place at Palenske Field, starting with the coronation ceremony at 6:30 p.m.. Following the crowning of the queen, the Willow Springs Bears will kick off their homecoming football game against the Houston Tigers at 7 p.m.

The 2025 Homecoming Court has also been announced: The Senior Queen candidates are Emma Grogan, Tobie Brotherton and Karis Cochran. The underclassmen princesses are freshman Charlotte Maggard, sophomore Grace Lakey and junior Alexis Sigman.

The homecoming festivities are sponsored by Simmons Bank.
