The West Plains High School Zizzers basketball team’s season came to a close Monday night in the semifinals round of the district competition when they fell to Rolla in hard-fought, close game with a final score of 61-56.
The Zizzers won the opening round of districts 56-54 over Branson. Briggs Hughston was the leading scorer in that game with 20 points.
“We end our season with a record of 15-12. We are so proud of all of our boys, especially our senior group! They had a solid 4 year run,” said Zizzers Head Coach Shane Benson.
