Two Bakersfield High School students will host a one-day diaper drive Nov. 14 to benefit the West Plains Pregnancy Resource Center.

Senior Harley Smith and junior Rosabelle Rogers organized the event as a Family, Career and Community Leaders of America project. They are collecting diapers, wipes and other baby essentials to help support local families.

In-person donations can be dropped off from 8 to 10 a.m. on Nov. 14 at United Free Will Baptist Church, 607 Lanton Road in West Plains.

The students have also placed collection boxes at various locations for anytime drop-offs. Those who wish to support the cause financially can make monetary donations directly through the Pregnancy Resource Center’s website at prcofwestplains.org.
