Finnegan Owen is by far the youngest resident at Martha Vance Samaritan Outreach Center, having been born Nov. 3 to Alex McHenry and Mike Owen as the two dive into first-time parenthood while looking for housing and jobs. They have been at the center for about three months now, after spending some time with family members and relocating to West Plains from Mt. Vernon. The two are 2022 graduates of Willow Springs High School and have been together for going on two years.

Other speakers included MSU President Clif Smart, MSU-WP Chancellor Dennis Lancaster, Tracey Hollis of TJ Swift House and 33rd District State Sen. Karla Eslinger, who introduced Parson.
