Shoppers line up outside the new Five Below at 1410 Southern Hills Shopping Center on Oct. 9 as the discount retailer opened its doors in West Plains. Store manager Tim McDonough described the turnout as “great.” Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa., Five Below has more than 2,000 stores in 47 states. The chain sells candy, toys and games, room décor, tech accessories and sports items. Most items are priced between $1 and $5, with some higher-priced items. The West Plains store is hiring.
