The West Plains Lady Zizzers are one win away from a district championship, but standing between them and the title is a familiar opponent that handed the team one of its five losses this season.

West Plains, the No. 1 seed in the Class 4 District 6 volleyball tournament, is scheduled to face the second-seeded Carl Junction Lady Bulldogs at 6 p.m. today at Logan-Rogersville High School.

The Lady Zizzers enter the championship match with a 31-5-1 record; their most recent loss came Oct. 15 against Carl Junction.

West Plains earned its spot in the final with a semifinal victory on Saturday over host Logan-Rogersville, after opening district play with a quarterfinal win over McDonald County on Oct. 20.
