We have a special treat for the community this Saturday! The cast of the new play “The Wench Hunt,” a West Plains Playhouse production, will be at the market from 9 a.m. to noon. A fantasy comedy stage play, the story follows disgraced monster-killer Traven and his reluctant ward, Jabeus, on the hunt for a wench! The cast will be in full costume, and marketgoers are welcome to take photos with them. Performances run Nov. 13 through 22 at the West Plains Civic Center, 110 St. Louis St.

Fall has arrived, and before you know it, the holidays will be here! Many of our bakers are already taking orders for family, friends and workplace gatherings and parties. Don’t miss out — get on their lists early!
