FEMA flood insurance now available online

Missouri residents can now purchase National Flood Insurance Program policies online through a new self-service tool launched by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

By visiting floodsmart.gov/policy-quote and providing basic property information, users can receive an immediate quote and buy a policy in minutes, or choose to share the details with a local insurance agent. FEMA currently provides nearly $3.5 billion in flood coverage for more than 14,000 policyholders in Missouri.
