Westlake Ace Hardware of West Plains recently wrapped up a fan drive, collecting customer donations for the purchase of 38 box fans to be distributed through Ozark Action Inc. in West Plains. The drive is organized by the Salvation Army and hosted by Westlake Ace Hardware. Nationally a total of $105,000 dollars to purchase 6,100 fans for the Salvation Army, to be redistributed to those needing them, according to Salvation Army and Ozark Action officials. "Service is one of our core values, and the fan drive is just one of many ways we serve our stores' communities," Westlake Ace Hardware Vice President and COO Andy Schmitt said. "Every year our customers and store associates come through with their support of the program, and we know we can count on them this year to help us reach our goal."
