The 32nd annual Pioneer Days will kick off at 8 a.m. Saturday in downtown Mtn. View with a full lineup of activities.
Planned events include mule jumping, line dancing, live music and square dancing, a car show, a quilt show, live demonstrations and a water brigade.
Music to be performed will include bluegrass and gospel. Over 120 vendors and food trucks will be on hand. Other activities will include a train, pony rides, face painting and a dunking booth..
A ham and bean supper will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday evening before the big day, and a pancake breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday.
The supper will be held in the Mtn. View Community Center, 125 E. First St., with a menu of chili, vegetable soup, hot dogs, Frito pie and desserts. The cost is $7 per adult and $5 per child age 12 and younger.
The breakfast will be served in the same location and the cost is $5 per person.
