More than 100 country gospel singers and musicians from across the nation gathered at The Bridge Church in West Plains for the International Country Gospel Music Association’s (ICGMA) 70th annual Convention and Gold Cross Awards Show.
The free three-day event, held July 16 through 18, featured a rich blend of country, bluegrass and southern gospel music. Attendees enjoyed daytime artist showcases from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and main evening concerts starting at 6 p.m. nightly.
The highlight of the event came Saturday evening during the Gold Cross Awards Show, where the ICGMA honored musical excellence across 26 categories and inducted new members into its Hall of Fame. Hosted by ICGMA President and Bridge Church Pastor Dan Duncan, the convention also allowed local music lovers to meet and visit with artists throughout the weekend.
