Three from West Plains named to UCM fall dean’s list 

Three local students have earned a spot on the fall dean’s list at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg.

Each semester, the dean’s list is divided into two parts. The first includes the names of students who have achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average, and the second list includes the names of students who attained a grade point average of 3.50 to 3.99.  

Earning placement on the 4.0 dean’s list are Taunia Lynn Rosa and Kennedy Nicole Bergman. Achieving a place on the 3.5-3.99 list is McKenzie Lauren Bergman.

UCM celebrates three local graduates

Three Howell County residents were among more than 1,000 students who met graduate requirements and were eligible to participate in the University of Central Missouri’s 2023 fall commencement exercises Dec. 8-9 in the Warrensburg school’s multipurpose building.

Students who completed their degree requirements by the end of the fall semester were eligible to participate in ceremonies that marked more than 152 years of Education for Service at UCM.

McKenzie Lauren Bergman, West Plains, graduated cum laude with a GPA between 3.5 and 3.74.

Two from Willow Springs, Adam Kimbrough and Jackie LeAnn Kimbrough, also graduated, earning Bachelors of Science degrees.
