The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation will host its 13th annual Blue Jean Ball on Oct. 3, at Silver Springs Ranch southwest of West Plains.
The western-themed fundraiser gathers community members and local businesses for an evening of entertainment, dining and auctions to support local patients and fund regional healthcare services. Last year's event raised a record-breaking $100,077.
The event begins at 6 p.m. at Silver Springs Ranch, located on Private Road 8900 off Highway PP, about 6 miles southwest of West Plains. The evening will feature dinner, drinks, live music by the Liz Moriondo Band, dancing and a silent auction.
All proceeds benefit the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation, which funds patient assistance programs, medical equipment and specialized care initiatives across south-central Missouri and northern Arkansas.
"The Blue Jean Ball is one of our favorite opportunities to bring our community together for a night of fun while making a meaningful difference for local patients," said Josh Reeves, Ozarks Healthcare vice president of development and advocacy. "Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured and auction item donated helps ensure patients have access to exceptional healthcare close to home."
Reeves emphasized the local impact of the annual fundraiser.
"For many individuals and families in our rural communities, access to healthcare comes with financial and geographic challenges," Reeves said. "The generosity shown through the Blue Jean Ball helps bridge those gaps, offering hope, healing and support when it's needed most."
Advance general admission tickets are available for $75, while tickets purchased at the door will be $100. General admission includes dinner, one adult beverage, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and access to open seating and gathering areas. A cash bar will also be available.
Reserved tables for eight are available for $1,000.
In addition to ticket purchases, foundation organizers are seeking donations of items and experiences for the silent auction, as well as corporate event sponsorships.
