Hunter Hamlin, 12, of Alton, won two blue ribbons Monday with his entries in the 4-H show at the Heart of the Ozarks Fair. Hamlin, a member of the Oregon County 4-H Club, is pictured with his handmade fishing lures; his other winning project was a Kokedama, a Japanese planting technique that creates a moss ball. He is the son of April and Trent Hamlin. Arts and crafts, cake decorating, woodworking, photography and other area youth 4-H projects are on display in the Expo building, alongside home economics and agriculture entries in the adult categories. Additionally, a Quill photographer will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Harper Building to take photos of exhibit winners with their entries.
