Book signing event at Springfield store to feature local author

Posted

Author Teresa L. Wallace, of Alton and formerly of West Plains, will sign copies of her books alongside three Springfield-area authors during an event from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at ABC Bookstore, 2109 N. Glenstone in Springfield.

Just in time for Christmas, Wallace and fellow others Dayna Ault, Rose Lombardo and Sharon Kizziah-Holmes will be on hand during the event to sell and sign their books. The public is invited and refreshments will be served.

Wallace has published three children’s books: “The Last Thing Mama Wanted,” about a little girl who wants a kitten; “Go Get It, Gus!” about a young dog who does everything for his human family; and “Gus Goes to School,” about a doggy’s unsanctioned day in “little sister’s” class.

She is a full-time writer who enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren. Wallace, a retired elementary school art teacher, wrote her first children’s story, “The Last Thing Mama Wanted,” inspired by her daughters, and the “Gus” series followed. Learn more about her at her website, teresalwallace.wordpress.com.

Her books are available online via links on her webpage or on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. They may also be purchased from her directly by emailing twallace001@centurytel.net.
