The Bikers United nonprofit group of West Plains recently dissolved, and to zero out the organization’s finances, members decided to go out in a big way and make donations to other local nonprofits, including a $3,393.70 contribution to the Boys & Girls Club of the Greater West Plains Area. BGC CEO Elizabeth Cawthon said the club will use the funds to help finish off a kitchen remodel at the club, in order to feed evening meals to club members. The kitchen is also used to help prepare meals fed to community children during the summer "Meet Up & Eat Up," which provides free lunches to all children while school is out.
