The Greater West Plains Area Chamber of Commerce has launched a new online Giving Guide designed to connect local residents and businesses with area nonprofit organizations.
The digital directory highlights regional nonprofits and their primary causes, offering a centralized hub for individuals, families and local businesses seeking ways to support community initiatives.
“Nonprofits are an essential part of the fabric of our community,” said Jessica Collins, executive director of the West Plains chamber. “We wanted to create a resource that helps people learn more about the organizations serving our region and provide a simple way to find opportunities to give, volunteer, sponsor or advocate for causes that matter to them.”
The directory encompasses organizations across multiple sectors, including youth and family services, education, health care, arts and culture, and community development.
The guide emphasizes multiple avenues of involvement beyond traditional financial donations, encouraging community members to share their time as volunteers, sponsor local programs or advocate for regional needs.
“Our community is strongest when we come together,” Collins said. “Every gift of time, talent and treasure makes a difference. The Giving Guide is an opportunity to learn about the incredible work happening right here in our community and find a way to be part of it.”
