TODAY

July 29 (8 a.m. - 3 p.m.) The ORN Cares Charity Golf Tournament takes place at the North Terra Golf Course,1724 N. Terra St. This years recipient is the Diaper Resource Center. The ORN Cares Golf Tournament is a 2-man scramble with morning tee at 8 a.m. and afternoon tee at 1 p.m. To register, call Vanessa Williams at 417-256-3131.

July 29 (6:30 p.m.) Trivia night at Wages Brewing Company, 1382 Bill Virdon Blvd., with four rounds of brain teasing fun with prizes. 

July 29 (7 p.m.) Alex Kentner, owner of Freedom Barber, and his incredible country voice returns to Wages Brewing Company, 1382 Bill Virdon Blvd. No cover charge. Donations accepted for local organizations.

July 30, Aug. 6, 13, 20 and 27 (7 a.m.- 1 p.m.) A farmer’s market with locally grown produce in Willow Springs is open at 120 W. Main St. in the Chamber of Commerce parking lot. 

July 30 (8 a.m.) Chris in July Bisque and more at American Urn Company, 4950 County Road 1510, Pomona. Local crafters will join the company with plans to have over 1,000 pieces of new bisque. 

July 30 (8:30 a.m.) Central Calvary Baptist Church is seeking the public’s help to spread mulch at the church and cleanup outside. Donuts and coffee will be available with a lunch to follow at Central Calvary Baptist Church, 4607 Route CC.

July 30 (5-9 p.m.) Fundraiser and silent auction featuring local arts and crafts, live music and chef prepared meals at The Yellow House, 209 W. Trish Knight St. There will be an open mic creative portion, kids coloring and drawing provided by the Neighborhood Tribe stores of Mtn. View. Mexican street tacos and street corn prepared from scratch will be available.  

July 30-Aug. 13 (5:30-8 p.m. Saturdays) Jesus in the Park held at Veterans Memorial Park in Mtn. View. There will be music and free food.

July 30 (6 p.m.) Todd Tighlman, the 2020 winner of The Voice, performs live with The Griffith’s, at 2507 Railroad Dr., Willow Springs. 

July 30 (7 p.m.) BrotherPaint performs live at Wages Brewing Company, 1382 Bill Virdon Blvd.

July 30 (7 p.m.) The Avenue Theatre will feature the film Aloha Samurai II: The Second Slice. The film is locally made and its directors are Tray Whitsell and John Hollback. Admission is $5 for orchestra and balcony seating, and $7 for pub table and bench seating in the balcony.
