The Dora School District will host its annual Back to School Fair from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in the school cafeteria.
The free event aims to ensure every student in Dora is equipped and supported for the upcoming school year. Attendees will have access to free clothing, shoes, backpacks, hygiene kits and haircuts.
Through the nonprofit organization Back to School Basics, all necessary school supplies for students in preschool through eighth grade will be provided directly to the school again this year. Paper, pens and pencils are also being donated for high school classrooms.
Community members who wish to contribute gently used clothing to the fair can contact Teri at 417-712-1027 or Shanna at 417-293-7471. Monetary donations to Back to School Basics are tax-deductible.
