Douglas County man faces 8 felony weapon, assault charges

An Ava resident who was being investigated after a complaint that he fired a weapon, striking a home, now has eight felony charges filed against him and a warrant with a $100,000 bond after law enforcement reportedly confiscated an alleged pipe bomb, firearms, ammunition, gunpowder and other ingredients commonly used to build explosive devices.
