Dr. Thomas Knox joins Baxter Health Bone & Joint Clinic

Thomas E. Knox, MD, whose name health system officials say “embodies dedication, expertise and excellence in the field of orthopedic medicine,” has joined the staff of Baxter Health Bone & Joint Clinic, the Mtn. View, Ark., practice of Drs. Win Moore and Ed Roeder.

Board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Knox is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (FAAOS) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (FAANA). He is certified as a Distinguished Arthroscopy Leader (DAL) by the Arthroscopy Association of North America and is among an elite group of physicians who have earned the credentials in the field of arthroscopy and related surgery, said Baxter officials.

Knox has practiced as an orthopedic surgeon in Mtn. Home since 1983. He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia and completed his internship and residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington.

Both originally from Thayer, Knox and his wife, Deborah, whom he married in 1975, now reside in Mtn. Home. They are actively involved in the Mtn. Home community, supporting many charitable, civic, educational, medical and cultural causes. They enjoy traveling, canoeing, hiking and spending time with their two adult children and two grandsons, and Dr. Knox is an avid motorcyclist, photographer and pilot.

Together, Drs. Knox, Moore and Roeder have 95 combined years of experience in orthopedic surgery.
