Gassville motorcyclist fatally injured in Friday crash

A 71-year-old motorcyclist from Gassville, Ark., suffered fatal injuries in a crash at 10:46 a.m. Friday in Yellville, Marion County, Ark., reports the Arkansas State Police.

Cpl. Lance Coffman with Troop A of the state police, Little Rock, reported Carl A. Bramblett, 71, Gassville, was the driver of a 2012 Harley-Davidson motorcycle traveling south on Highway 235 near Pangle Lane in Yellville. Bramblett reportedly failed to negotiate a curve, causing the motorcycle to run off the right side of the road, striking a ditch.

A passenger, Bobbi Summers, 25, Mtn. Home, Ark., was injured in the crash and taken to Baxter Health in Mtn. Home for Treatment.

Bramblett’s remains were held at Cox Hospital in Branson, the report shows. It is not reported whether either of the injured wore a helmet.
