Harlin Museum to host inaugural Spring Handmade Market

Posted

The Harlin Museum is inviting the community to celebrate local artistry during its upcoming Spring Handmade Market at the Museum, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 9.

The outdoor market, held on the museum grounds at 405 Worcester St., will feature a curated selection of goods created by Ozarks artisans and craftspeople. Organizers noted the event is designed to highlight regional craftsmanship while providing a venue for local makers to reach the public.

To ensure the quality of the market, all participating vendors are selected from applications based on the handmade, handcrafted  or homemade nature of their work; no resale or flea market merchandise is permitted.

“Our goal is to create a meaningful experience that connects people with the rich tradition of handmade artistry in the Ozarks,” organizers said. “We hope this becomes a seasonal event the community looks forward to.”

Admission to the event is free and open to the public.

Vendor spaces are still available for $40.
