The Heart of the Ozarks Fair starts Monday, and the construction of rides and games along the carnival midway is underway. Admission is free on Monday, and the first event is the Junior Market Steer, Goat, Lamb, and Swine Show at 8 a.m. Judging for the home economics, fine arts, photography, and fruits and vegetables shows will also be done Monday. Admission will also be free on Tuesday; a 10 a.m. goat show will be the first event of the day and flower judging will take place at 1 p.m. Carnival rides will operate from 6 to 11 p.m. that evening at a cost of $2 each, and the livestock auction will be held beginning at 6 p.m.
