ARRESTS

Wendell Edward Harris, 40, was arrested April 15 on a warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge and released the same day on $7,500 bond. Deputy Melanie Roam.

Michael Jay Lewis, 47, was arrested April 15 on a warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge and released the same day on $10,000 bond. Missouri State Highway Patrol Tpr. A.K. Falterman.

Marvin Wayne Bowman, 54, was arrested April 16 on a charge of being a fugitive from out of state and held on $50,000 bond. Patrol Tpr. J.J. Smith

Adam Michael Gibbs, 35, was arrested April 17 by a representative of another law enforcement agency on six counts of a Howell County charge of possession of child pornography, repeat offense or possessing at least 20 pictures or a video. He is held on $75,000 bond.

Derek Holden Palmer, 34, was arrested April 18 on two warrants for failure to appear on felony charges and held on $30,000 bond. Deputy Jacob Hamby.

Tracy Laynette McCartney, 51, was arrested April 18 on seven counts each of forgery and stealing, value at least $750. She is held on $75,000 bond. Deputy Jordon Collins.

Daniel John Kerr, 56, was arrested April 18 on a warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge and released the following day on $5,000 bond. Deputy Corey Clark.

James L. Briggs, 41, was arrested April 19 on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and held on $250 cash bond. Deputy Koleman McDaniel.

Danielle Olene Clinton, 35, was transported on April 19 to the Missouri Department of Corrections to serve a four-year sentence. Deputy Clark.

Visa Dior Miller, 36, was arrested Saturday on charges of failure to drive on the right side of the road and driving on a highway without a valid license. Deputy Talon Millard.

Brandon Kyle Weaver, 39, was arrested Saturday on Texas County charges of second-degree burglary, speeding by 1-5 mph over and misdemeanor stealing. He was released the following day on $1,300 cash bond. Deputy John Thomas.

Davian Damarius Rudd, 34, was arrested Saturday on a charge of failure to register nonresident commercial motor vehicle and released the same day on $209 cash bond.

Joey Lawrence Owens, 60, was arrested Saturday on Oregon County charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving physical injury and driving a vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. He was released the following day on $2,500 bond. Patrol Tpr. C.C. Battreal.

Colt Alan Pruitt, 29, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and held on $5,000 bond. Deputy Robert Malone.

Guy B. Sandahl II, 54, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $304.50 cash bond. Deputy Thomas.

Paul William Dugan, 19, was arrested Sunday on charges of driving while revoked or suspended and failure to equip vehicle with a rear license plate lamp. He was released the following day without bond. Deputy McDaniel.

Jessica Lynn Matty, 43, was ticketed Sunday on a charge of driving without a valid license and released. Sgt. Brian Jackson.

Jakob L. Conlee, 19, was arrested Monday on an Ozark County warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge and released the same day on $250 cash bond. Deputy Malone.

INCIDENT REPORTS

Sgt. Seth Smith took a call for service at 10:52 a.m. April 15 regarding a theft. A report was taken and the case is closed.

At 11:59 a.m. April 15, Deputy Austin Ryan was advised by dispatch of identification found on U.S. 63 in West Plains, which was returned to its rightful owner.

Deputy Hunter Ward responded at 5:05 p.m. April 15 to a call regarding vehicle tampering.

At 7:59 a.m. April 16, Deputy Malone stopped a vehicle on U.S. 160, resulting in a ticket being issued for driving 11-15 mph over the limit.

Sgt. Smith took a call at 9:57 a.m. April 16 regarding a harassment complaint. A report was taken and the case will be referred to the patrol for follow-up investigation.

At 9:41 p.m. April 16, Cpl. Travis Weaver responded to the West Plains Police Department to take information police had gotten through the Missouri Information Analysis Center about a possible threat. A report was completed.

Deputy Hamby took a call at 12:09 p.m. April 17 regarding a violation of an order of protection that had occurred on County Road 8240. He took details for a report and charges will be sent to the Howell County Prosecutor for review.

At 2:14 p.m. April 17, Deputy Ryan spoke to a person who wanted to report property damage in the area of County Road 2380 in Pomona. He took a report.

Deputy Avery Stolba, West Plains Middle School resource officer, was notified at 11:04 a.m. April 18 by West Plains Middle School administration of an assault that occurred at the school. Interviews were conducted with administration, the victim and witnesses, and a referral form and probable cause statement seeking a charge of third-degree assault will be sent to the Juvenile Office for review.

At 9:28 a.m. April 19, Deputy Thomas was dispatched to a stealing call on the 1700 block of U.S. 63. A person was booked and placed on a 24-hour hold.

Deputy Millard stopped a silver SUV at 2:02 a.m. Saturday for failing to stay in its lane on Highway 14 near West Plains, and found the driver did not have a valid license. The driver was arrested and ticketed on the charges.

At 3:06 p.m. Saturday, Deputy Thomas was dispatched to the sheriff’s office to take an informational report on a complaint of stealing.

A man was arrested at 2:36 p.m. Sunday in connection with a burglary in Pomona, and while being searched during the arrest, a glass pipe was reportedly found in his pocket. It was taken and the man was taken to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office. Cpl. Logan Wake.

At 4:10 p.m. Sunday, Deputy McDaniel was dispatched to a stranded vehicle on U.S. 63.

Deputy McDaniel was on patrol at 11:31 p.m. Sunday when he saw a passenger car driving on Missouri Avenue without a license plate light. He stopped the vehicle on Porter Wagoner Boulevard, resulting in the arrest of the driver on a charge of driving while revoked.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

At 5:05 p.m. April 15, deputies responded to County Road 3850 in Peace Valley to take a report of property damage.

Deputies responded to a fire call at 1:31 p.m. April 16 on U.S. 63 in Willow Springs; no report was needed.

Lt. Jason Long assisted a stranded motorist at 3:04 p.m. April 16 on U.S. 60 in Willow Springs.

Deputy Adriel Lisboa responded at 3:57 p.m. April 16 to Third Street in Willow Springs for a suspicious vehicle.

Deputies responded at 6:03 p.m. April 16 to County Road 8230 for a death investigation. A report was taken and the death was deemed not of natural causes.

At 7:07 p.m. April 16, Deputy Collins responded to Higby Street in West Plains to assist another agency with a call.

Deputies responded at 7:13 p.m. April 16 to ZZ highway for a runaway youth.

At 6:43 a.m. April 17, Deputy Ryan assisted a stranded motorist on County Road 5790 in Willow Springs.

Cpl. Wake executed a search warrant at 1:22 p.m. April 17 on U.S. 63 in Pomona.

At 2:14 p.m. April 17, deputies took a report of property damage on County Road 2380 in Pomona.

Deputies responded at 8:56 a.m. April 18 to Highway 101 in Caulfield for a runaway youth; the case was turned over to another agency.

At 4:51 p.m. April 18, WPMS SRO Deputy Stolba took a report of threats at the school.

Cpl. Weaver responded at 1:42 a.m. April 19 to Thayer Avenue in West Plains to assist another agency.

At 12:33 p.m. April 19, deputies responded to County Road 6460 in West Plains to take a report of a burglary.

Deputy Millard assisted a stranded driver at 7:36 p.m. April 19 on ZZ Highway in West Plains.

At 8:16 p.m. April 19, Deputy Millard responded to Fourth Street in Mtn. View to assist another agency.

Deputy Lisboa responded at 2:03 p.m. Saturday to Jan Howard Expressway in West Plains to assist another agency.

At 9:38 p.m. Saturday, Deputy Millard responded to Porter Wagoner Boulevard in West Plains for a report of a suspicious person.

Sgt. Paul Bradshaw conducted extra patrol at 10:41 a.m. Sunday on Crestwood Circle in West Plains.

At 10:50 a.m. Sunday, Deputy Brandon Meacham responded to Forest Service Road 841 in Pomona for a suspicious vehicle.

Deputies responded at 2:40 p.m. Sunday to County Road 2570 in West Plains for a complaint of property damage.

At 4:10 p.m. Sunday, Deputy Meacham assisted a stranded motorist on U.S. 63 in Pomona.

Deputy Malone responded at 7:23 p.m. Sunday to U.S. 63 in Pomona to assist another agency.
