Leonardo DRS donates to The Chaos Closet

Posted

Leonardo DRS has made a $1,500 donation to The Chaos Closet in West Plain. Allison Garrison, marketing representative from the Charitable Contributions Committee with Leonardo DRS, says the committee accepts nominations from employees for donations or program sponsorships to a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that they are passionate about supporting. Nominations are reviewed and then approved by the Senior Leadership Team for distribution.

DRS employee Bruce Vincent submitted the organization for consideration and shared an overview of the closet’s mission to support foster families.

“It was wonderful to hear about the impact you are making in our community.” Garrison said to Chaos Closet Executive Director DeeDee Button when presenting the donation.

“I’m so thankful for this generous gift from DRS. With this support, we can continue our work in meeting the needs of children in foster care,” said Button.

The Chaos Closet is a nonprofit organization working to meet the immediate needs of children in foster care by providing diapers, clothing, formula, bedding and hygiene items.
