Tune in to KOLR10’s Ozarks Live! at 3 p.m. Tuesday to see local author Jill Pietroburgo talk about her new book, “Sometimes Grandma Calls me Jean.”
The book, intended for children between the ages of 3 and 8, is written as a storytelling resource for young children with family members who have been diagnosed with dementia. It is inspired by Pietroburgo’s own experience with her own mother and her memory loss.
Pietroburgo is an early childhood special education teacher for West Plains R-7 Schools.

She will also have copies of her book available during the Downtown Fall Block Party from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday on West Plains’ Court Square.
