Local retailers sell more than $240,000 in winning Lottery tickets

During the month of October, Missouri Lottery offices paid out more than $9 million in prizes of $1,000 or more.

Of that, $243,500 was won via local retailers, including Powerball prizes of $150,000 won in Moody and $50,000 in Theodosia, plus a $20,000 Scratchers prize won in West Plains.

Areawide, Casey’s General Store locations sold the highest number of winning tickets, with five $1,000 Scratchers winners sold in stores in Cabool, Willow Springs and Mtn. Grove. Crossroads Convenience Store in West Plains sold the most winners as a single location: the $20,000 Scratchers ticket and two $1,000 Scratchers.

RETAILERS THAT SOLD WINNING TICKETS

West Plains: Crossroads Convenience, West Broadway, one $20,000 Scratcher and two $1,000 scratchers, and $1,000 Scratchers at 10Box Cost-Plus, Kentucky, Avenue; Snappy Mart 11, North U.S. 63; and Get & Go, North Howell Avenue.

Theodosia: Cash Saver Pantry, U.S. 160, one $50,000 Powerball ticket and a $1,000 Scratcher; and Boyd Garrison Enterprise, a $1,000 Scratcher.

Gainesville: one $1,000 Scratchers game sold at USA Investments on First Street.

Mtn. View: one $1,000 Cash Pop game sold at Anchor C-Store on U.S. 60.

Cabool: two $1,000 Scratchers game each sold at Casey’s on Ozark Street and Garden Inn Truck Stop on U.S. 60, and a $1,000 winner sold at The Gas Station on Ozark Street.

Mtn. Grove: two $1,000 Scratchers games sold at Casey’s on North Main Street.

Willow Springs: one $1,000 Scratchers game sold at Casey’s on West Main Street.

Licking: a $1,000 ticket at Fast & Friendly on South Main Street.

Thayer: A $1,500 Mega Millions ticket each at The Beverage Shoppe and Kwik Serv, both on U.S. 63/

Houston: Walmart on South Sam Houston Boulevard, $1,000 Scratcher.

Moody: The Kountry Korner Store, Highway 142, $150,000 Powerball winner.
