 Local ‘System of Care’ organizations to host Community Connections Resource Fair

The Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center (BHC), along with several local organizations which serve health and wellness needs of individuals across the region, will host a Community Connections Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 2 at Emmett Kelly Park in Houston. 

Along with BHC, additional Ozarks Healthcare service lines and organizations including Community Partnerships of the Ozarks, Vocational Rehabilitation, the Veterans Administration, Rolla Regional Center, Missouri Families for Families, Texas County Health Department, Christos House, Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health, A.S.C.E.N.D. at Missouri State University-West Plains and FCC Behavioral Health Adolescent R.I.S.E. will all be represented at the fair and will be able to help assist people in accessing services and support for themselves or family members. Healthcare services, job application assistance, housing application assistance, and more will be available at the fair. 

Participating organizations compose a local “System of Care” which is designed to support youth and their families in locating and using local benefits, programs, and services to find a healthy lifestyle.
